EPSC/QPCIP Online Course Tips

• Pre-register! You may inquire at msdcertifications@jefferson.kyschools.us
• Watch for an email from msdcertifications@jefferson.kyschools.us that contains your sign on information for your course.
• Before beginning the course consider clearing your Cache and using Chrome as your browser.
• Follow instructions on the Course page after signing in to your course.
• Allow yourself a block of time to focus on the course. Approximately 2 hours, but this varies with each course due to your connection speed, number of breaks taken, multiple attempts on quizzes, etc.
• You may want to consider headphones or ear buds, depending on your environment.
• You may pause the course. Leaving the course site may require that you to sign in again upon returning.

Video Presentation Tips

• Listen carefully to each slide.
• You may also want to consider taking notes during the presentation to asset with answering the quizzes found at the end of each section. Quizzes are multiple choice.
• Answer each interactive slide question. Multiple attempts allowed. Be aware of the NEXT tab located on the bottom right of your screen.
• Pay attention to key words and phrases within each slide.
• Always read all the choices before choosing your answer.
• Remember to return to the main course page to participate in the Course Review. This is optional.
